RoxioEasy Media Creator 9.0 DE (Deluxe Suite) is an older version of the Roxio
Creator suite. This set of applications allows users to create and burn CDs and
DVDs, edit existing videos, convert files to other extensions, play back media

need to know the system specifications to make sure your PC can handle the
workload.

on achieving. Your computer needs a 500 MHz (megahertz) Intel Pentium III or
equivalent processor and 128 MB (megabytes) of RAM (Random Access Memory) to
burn music and data disks; a 1.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent and 256 MB
of RAM to run DVDs, slideshows and video authoring; a 1.6 GHz Intel Pentium 4
or equivalent and 256 MB of RAM for real-time video capture and burning; or a 2
GHz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent and 512 MB of RAM for HD quality viewing.
Hard Drive
The
hard drive specifications for Roxio Easy Media Creator also depend on what you
are planning to do. You need 1 GB of free hard disk space for installation, an
additional 1 GB for every 5 minutes of video capture and an additional 9 GB if
you plan on copying video or music DVDs. The publisher recommends 7200 RPM
(Rotations per Minute) hard disk drives for video projects.

is not supported on the Windows XP Pro x64 Edition.
You
need a 1024 X 768 resolution monitor with a 16-bit color graphics card (24-bit
or 32-bit true color recommended). You also need a 16-bit Windows-compatible
sound card and speakers. Both the graphics and sound cards must be compatible
with Microsoft DirectX 9 or later. Easy Media Creator requires Windows Media
Player 10 or later, and Internet Explorer 6 or later.
